Inspiration - Dalahorse

The Dalahorse was originally a toy in the 17th century and is decorated with the beautiful Kurbits-pattern that originates from the traditional folklore art of Dalarna.

The status of our Swedish Dalahorse as great selling souvenir has a long history and can be explained by the fact that a three-meter-high Dalahhorse was sent across the Atlantic sea to represent Sweden at the New York World's Fair in 1939. At the fair, the horse made a big success and over 1000 small dalahorses were sold as souvenirs.

Today, the Dalahorse is a highly appreciated Swedish classic style icon both in Sweden and around the world.
